I cant wait, but i have two worries... i dont know how to get from airport to camp... and i dont really know anyone (i kind of get upset in large groups of people that i dont know), so if theres a shuttle im saved (im too young to rent a car!!) and if i could get to know some of you better... i probably wont cry! lol, i know i may sound childish, but thats how i get!!

There was a shuttle for the last camp, and people often offer to pick others up at the Airport. I knew no one last time, online from talking to people on here. I was shy at first but quickly overcame that. You talk to us all here and we are pretty much the same face to face :)

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

Dear Mel,
I promise you no one will be unmet at the airport. Shuttling just one of millions of details that Rich & the Board of Directors
plan and plan and Plan for us all. AND they are all unpaid volunteers and also pay their way there too!!!

Save!

I can't wait!!!

I am not comfortable around groups of people either--but am curious as to where it may be held. I'd like to attend just for a day. Any ideas?
thanks
