Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

YES Louise, these injuries with secondary physical/medical issues IS crazy. FYI there is alot of information on "these odd ones" on the Adults & Teens Forums Board. It is worth making time to read.
Hugs to you and Miss Elizabeth.

Oh I hope she gets help?? Looks like Elizabeth is in band and plays a horn,AWSOME! I am glad she found a way to get over her limitation and yes you never see the end to new issues with the limitations for sure. I drove 18 wheelers for 20 yrs. with my erbs. Your daughter by being in the band and trying to over come what you can?? Crazy's will never go away but nether will the surprise what you did find a way to do things in-spite of your limitations.

Best wishes,

The Dinosaur some times  , Tom

Sometimes I loss a thought :o , OH Well.

What work for erbs hand grasping a semi streeing wheel for years.
For cramping in fingers I used a micowave a glove, warmth help me a lot.
I cushion my issues with Erbs with pillows , I think any thing that takes gravity off is great,It helps pain and spams .
I know I used the word Dinasor but its true,You maybe get over limitation by treatment I HOPE SO ;) .

Dinasor Tom,
