Tricepts muscle transfer on severe BPP

My daughter is 9 years old. Her PB is extremely severe to the point that she still cannot utilize her left arm for anything other than "pushing" something as her triceps is her only active muscle. My question is..has anyone experienced a "triceps transfer operation" to replace the biceps function in their child? I'd like to know the biggest problems, if any, that arose. Thanks!
