I spoke with my attorney on Friday and discovered that this is the 2nd time he has contacted them. They legally are not entitled to any refund of money according to the terms under which we settled. Any legal stance they felt they had should have been broached before we closed the case and signed our agreements of confidentiality. They mailed copies of the letters of response that were sent so that I could review these. It seems that this type of thing happens more than not, but the limits and laws of course vary state to state. Mr. Weisbrod assured me that we are not legally bound to repay any money and the proper paperwork has been forwarded to document that. I'll keep you posted if anything more develops.
Can you believe this.....

The laws are different in each state - this really works in your benefit because it can be QUITE a bill!
Glad it's being taken care of.
