Hi Michelle...
It will be a sponsored effort to raise funds for the TBPI U.K. group...we are applying for charity status in the next few weeks, after the next committee meeting, and hopefully, we will get it without too many problems...we are raising funds to set up a series of 'Education Days' for the medical proffessionals to swap information and learn about new methods of treating people with a TBPI...much the same as the Erb's Palsy Group U.K. have done for midwives here. I am also hoping that we can organise bigger social gatherings...at a better and bigger place than my house where the last two meetings were! It all costs money to set up...thats why we need the funds. We have plans for other stuff too...more later...;0)

Hey Michelle i am a musical i have played the bagpipes for ten years but i cant play then now and wont be able to for a while and i have tried the play the chanter (practice chanter it just the mouth piece and the fingure part of the bagpipes) but my fingures are improving very fast as well as my wrist and i busked for my local pipeband here one day and made £85 in just 1 hour. But i am more than willing to do anything else to help for funds and i am thinking of doind the walk/climb

Ok - you've all tempted me, if you organise an event, I'll try and come up to scotland - NOT for the walk, remember my motto is " if you can't do it in high heels, I don't do it !! " BUT I am happy to help with the organisation/resuscitation etc if necessary, also, watch this space as there may well be an event in Scotland which will be organised in conjunction with the Erb's Palsy group UK - but my lips are
sealed(ish) at the moment as it hasn't been organised yet. But you will all be welcome if we do get it organised!

I think a camp would be a great thing, but it would have to be a family thing, co's we have to remember our nearest and dearest go through every day the pains with us and our ups & downs, they are in the firing lines all the time, they get the brunt of our bad days. By the way Anna I live in Hawick in the Borders, not far from you.

I think it would be a good thing having a UK camp, but it would have to be a family affair, as your nearest and dearest get the brunt of all our bad days we have, and I think our partners would learn a lot from other peoples partners aswell. So I think it is a good thing, by the way Anna i live in Hawick in the Borders, not far from you.
