Very neat therapy stuff....
Re: Very neat therapy stuff....
I think I saw a similar item in the sears christmas catalog online as the pumper car...
Thanks for sharing your information I have appreciated your helpfulness over the last 4 years. Our son was born late Aug 98 and I believe your daughter was at TCH a month before us.
I do not check the site often but it is miraculous how well you have managed to educate people and welcome newcomers. I just wanted to thank you for all the help you have offered.
We are always searching for new challenges for our son right down to see and says toys making him use his erbs arm to pull the lever.
Every little bit counts.
Thanks again it is reassuring to find someone with experience to help guide the way.

We have something similar to the car on her playground that she has to "push / pull" to keep swinging. She has trouble with it so we end up doing most of the work or she screams her head off.

christy - that reminds me of the hand powered tricycle Maia was gifted by telephone pioneers... you need a working hand to make it go! uh duh!! LOL It does have its merits for someone who just has to strengthen an arm - so she could use it NOW - but she's too big for the trike now....we're donating it to the therapy group she goes to.

Ben loves the Glide Point Massager after therapy or a long day, I have to say I rather like it myself, lol. Its great for his shoulder and arm, he just goes limp when we use it on him. Here's the link:

It is kewl, lol, like I said, I use it on myself too! Can't let him have all the fun, lol. You have to order it from the company, costs a bit, but definantely worth it!!
