traveling early to catch some sites

I was just wondering how many familes live close to where the camp will be next year...I am flying in with my daughter all the way from the West coast, and dont know when we will have another chance to see some of the great sites in New York. If possible I would like to hook up with a family from the area, or find a family who would like to fly in early and see some sites too... Big city and would love the company

Hi Sheila,
My family and I will be coming from Ohio and were considering going early to go into the city. My husband and I have been to NY 2 times and loved it. Do you know how far from the city that camp is? Where are you coming from? Just a little about my family, My husband and I have a 4 year old son with a total palsy in his right arm and he has had 2 operations. We took him to camp in colorado 2 years ago and it was the best thing we ever could have done for ourselves and Jordan. Look forward to hearing from you and happy holidays.
