Schedule?

Post by francine »

Cathy - do you think you can post last year's schedule of events so that we (those who didn't go) have an idea of how the weekend was spent last year?

I know it will be different this year....but I guess I am just curious as to how it all flowed.

Monday

Camp Closed

Campers pre-registered for activity choices and they included: guided hike, aquatherapy for those with bpi, canoeing, horseback riding, pony rides, climbing wall, fishing, on your own time (to just have a break or to explore the campsite).

Hope this helps! We packed a lot into a few days! The "after camp evaluations" told us that our campers felt that their money and time were well spent. For those of you who attended last year, maybe you'd want to post about some of these things that we did? It might help to give others an idea about the camp experience you and your families had.

Tarakyn and I had a blast last year at camp..and have been waiting for news about the next camp...It is really great because my husband and I have decided that instead of taking the whole family..that we will just make this mom and daughter time while the boys stay at home...We are truely excited even though we will spend darn near a whole day just to get to camp this year. since we live clear on the other side of the states..but its worth it totally

Hi Sheila! Glad to see you're coming back. Yes, it will be a bit of a haul for those of us on the west coast, but we think you'll agree it will be well worth it. This camp is so beautiful! You are in for a wonderful mommy/daughter weekend.

Sheila, maybe it would be helpful to others if you could post some of the things we did last time that you really enjoyed? Thanks in advance! Cathy

Tarakyn and I reserved a little late, but everyone was great to make sure we had room. We had a blast at camp! Tarakyn was an inspiration to the trail guide....She walked the whole mile or so all by herself.( great accomplishment for a 4 year old) She also had fun getting a chance to go canoeing. She really enjoyed the daycamp she participated in with other kids while us parents went to informative gatherings with therapists, doctors, and attornies. She made some great friends too..now that she is older, I hope she will show more interest to keep in touch with penpals. She feels so included to know that other kids have a "surgery arm"

Nancy,
Are you driving? I know you live within an hour of me. Arer there people in our area that are going to carpool? Or is flying the best idea? Pat
