Yellow jacket sting bpi arm
I got stung by a yellow jacket two days ago and am having severe pain and swelling. Luckily it stung me on the front of my shoulder where I have limted amount of feeling. The area gets very red and hot.I have been taking benadryl.but I am feeling very anxious. Anyone have this happen to them and how long did it take the pain to go away. I am on vacation and it is definitely putting a damper on it

Put ice on it too... Sorry you got stung! I got bit 6 years ago on my ankle and it swelled up like a balloon, I was freaked but it went away after a few days.

Thanks Marieke. The swelling finally went down and there is a hard dead skin area left. I just kept taking benadryl and was groggy and cranky the whole vacation.I was a joy to be around.
