I will put a post in when i get back from london and tell you all how it went and what the Professor says to expect within a certain time. i have put on about 20lbs since my accident but when i get out of a sling from my next operation i am going to start cycling and a little fitness training because i hate being over weight for some strange reason lol. must scoot for know. happy healing

Hi Kevin. Im an occasional visitor here, a patient like yourself. No one can say for sure the outcome or recovery from the trauma or surgery, your best bet is to ask Rolf Birch when you see him as you're in good hands there he's one of the very top guys.
There's a group you would find interesting with some very hard working folks behind it. Dave

Hey Paul sorry mate i was in london getting more treatment i just got back yesterday 12th dec i got 2cm of my ulnar nerve put grafted to my bicep.I got the operation on the 11th and got out on the 12 i am delighted about it.My right arm is mummified though from my wrist to my armpit but its only a backslab which i get of in three weeks which isnt so bad. When the proff examined me he says in 6 months i should be able to lift my arm 90 degrees which is only 1 year 1 month post first operation which is dam good for the injury and i read my notes hehehe i avulsed c5 c6 c7 and the c8 and t1 were a little damaged but had healed very quickly so in three weeks i will be very happy because i cant wash properly with this dam thing on because it goes right into my bicep but i will figure a way out to keep it dry in the shower.as far as recovery goes my hand is getting stronger and stronger as well as my wrist anyway beter scoot

happy healing
