So I broke my arm ....Again...last week.

Anyone else had major troubles in their recovery or rehab? It kinda ticks me off to have this injury in the first place, work my butt off to rehab, and get hurt again.

So along with all my other initial injuries, and the bpi, I had broken my humerous (the bone from elbow to shoulder. Well in trying to get better, I broke it in half again. Long story short, I get in the pool and also lift on some assisted machines 3 days every week. Well I started feeling the mild atrophy setting in my left chest again from little use (LTBPI). So I was lifting lite weight on a smith machine to recover. No kidding, snapped in half, same spot, mid push.

Back in the contraption on my arm and extremely one handed again. This sucks.

Wow, how frustrating! Sorry to hear about that. I'm surprised the doctors havn't put a metal plate or rod in there to stabilize the bone.
I've also had trouble healing the bone in my bpi arm. I broke my humerous on the bpi arm in the accident and even though it has been about 8 and a half months since then it still hasn't healed. The drs.at Mayo even did a bone graft during my nerve surgery because the bone around the break had died.
I think between lack of use and lack of nerve sensation the body just doesn't respond well to healing.

Hey Racer, sorry to hear about the set back, I feel for you. I hope you can find a way to get that bone stable so you can get back to doing what you were doing. Set backs suck, but hopefully you can trudge through! Good luck, JJ
