George,
You have really been there for everyone for quite awhile.
I have noticed your absence.
Is everything OK?

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: January 1980 Yamaha RD200 vs 16 wheeler truck, result, 1 totally paralysed right arm. I was 21, now 54. I had no surgery, I don't regret this. Decided to totally ignore limitations (easily done aged 21) adapted very quickly to one handed life, got married, had 3 kids, worked- the effect of the injury on my life (once the pain stopped being constant) was minimal and now, aged 54, I very rarely even think of it, unless I bash it or it gets cold, then I wish I'd had it amputated :) Except for a steering knob on my car, I have no adaptations to help with life, mainly because I honestly don't think of myself as disabled and the only thing I can't do is peel potatoes, which is definitely a good thing.
Re: George....where are you?
It's true, george hasn't been around much lately.....neither have I come to that but I do usually read new posts most days. The problem is the red dots at the end go away after you close the site, so if I don't get time to answer a post it sometimes slithers off and gets ignored. I like the tbpi uk site because I can make the 'new message' icon disappear when i want it to and not before, so no post gets ignored.....Ryan, could we do that here?
Hi too to Joy, I was wondering how your dad was doing? Take care all Jen NZ

Hey Jenny,
Thanks for asking about my Dad. I was just scanning in some pictures of him that were taken only a few months after he got out of the hospital. He looked so pale. He seems to be doing well. He still tires very easily. Which makes him very frustrated. My mother swears he has gotten grouchy but he hides it well around everyone but her! LOL Not really sure what that is about. He is still big and strong but seems a little fragile to me now. If that makes any sense what so ever!
Good to hear from you Jenny.
