Surgary at Shriners

Post by admin »

Hi,
I have been reading the postings for a while. My son Cody is having a "tendon transfer" at Shriners in Sacramento on December 18th by Dr Michelle James. He is 7. Has anyone been to Shriners regarding their BPI. Most of you seem to go to Texas Childrens. kaiser also "wants" to so the surgery. It seems that everyone is doing case studies and want us to have it at their hosp. I will be glued to this website for the next several months I think. Thank you for all the information I've found at this site. I need to know so much more.

I haven't been to Shriners but I think that it is important to go somewhere where they are experienced. Ask how many tendon transfers they have done, how many BPI cases have they worked on. Good Luck!
