I WAS INJURED IN A CAR ACCIDENT 31 YEARS AGO AND i HAVE A SEVERE BPI. I TAUGHT MYSELF TO ONLY WORK WITH THE ONE HAND, WHICH FORTUNATELY WAS MY RIGHT HAND. AND I HAVE BEEN DOING EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING WITH IT FOR 31 YEARS. NOW I HAVE OVERUSE SYNDROME IN MY RIGHT HAND AND HAVE BEEN TOLD BY SPECIALISTS TO LIMIT WHAT I DO BECAUSE I COULD LOOSE THE USE OF WHAT STRENGTH I HAVE LEFT
IN MY ONLY GOOD ARM!! WOW. I CAN ONLY DO LITTLE BITS AT A TIME. I SHAKE LIKE I HAVE PARKINSON DISEASE. I CAN ONLY HOLD MAYBE A SODA CAN FOR A FEW MINUTES. I CAN NO LONGER DO THE WORK THAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO FOR ALL THESE YEARS. MY HAND STAYS NUMB MOST OF THE TIME, THE LEFT ARM I JUST KEEP IT TIED UP SO IT WON'T HANG FLACCID TO MY SIDE. I NOW RECEIVE A SOC SEC DISABILITY CHECK WHICH IS A JOKE!! I'M ABOUT TO LOOSE THE THINGS I WORKED SO HARD AND SO LONG TO GET, LIKE MY HOUSE..CREDIT CARDS ARE THROUGH THE ROOF CAUSE THAT'S WHAT I RELY ON TO MAKE ENDS MEET. THE GAS BILL WAS $500, I'M ARGUING WITH THEM LIKE A MAD PERSON. MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, I TEACH HER THINGS TO DO TO TAKE MOST OF THE PERSSURE OFF OF ME, BEFORE I HAVE TO DO THINGS ONLY USING MY FEET! AND SHE GOES OFF AND WRECK THE CAR. I NEED NOT SAY WHAT PROBLEMS THAT HAS CREATED IN MY LIFE! I FEEL SO HELPLESS. IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS ON A EXTRA INCOME FOR A PERSON LIKE MYSELF. PLEASE HELP!! I'M AT MY WITS END. I'M TIRED OF THE STRUGGLE AND PAIN. I CAN'T BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW I HURT, TO THE POINT I DON'T SLEEP, DON'T EAT. ALL I THINK ABOUT IS BILLS, BILLS, BILLS.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!
I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".
There is NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION.

I have to agree with Carolyn, go see a credit councilor.
If you've done all your life as you have I would think it is worth keeping.
Go after a credit councilor with the same vim & vigor(???) as you have your life.
Once you have established a plan then you can work on your personal self, yes?
