At the Mayo, they have other specialists preform other diagnostics, except surgery and range of motion stuff.

Re: Getting Ready for Surgery
My mylogram wasn't painful, uncomfortable at points, but not painful. The surgery was not extremely painful either. I felt a little better in 2 weeks or so. I guess everybody is different, but for me, the pain was lessened. I still have pain, dont get me wrong, but its either not as bad or I'm used to it. The dullness of the shoulder sometimes hurts, but really is just annoying most times but I'm used to that too. I'd give anything to just stretch one good time and pop that shoulder joint. I'm 10 months post Ulnar nerve surgery, occasionally, I'll have nerve pain or electrical lightning shooting through the arm but its brief and nothing that lasts.
