My new blog

Post by Humboldtmtnbkr »

Hey if anyone is interested I am starting a blog. I am going to basically keep a public joural of my physical and mental state through this crazy time. I am hoping it will help some of my friends understand what is going on in my head as well as help me understand my thoughts better. I hope to post videos, pics, and anything else I can think of. Also, I believe the timing is good since I will be going to the Mayo clinic in February for at least testing and consulting. I hope it doesn't seem to self absorbing, but what the hell, I think it may help. Thanks JJ

Although mine is from a motorcycle accident, I read your blog and our injuries, like many here, are much the same. Just dont give up hope, and I know its hard not to at times. My accident was 1yr 3mos ago. I lost total shoulder and bicep control. I had all use out of my hand and fingers but no or numb feeling in most fingers. I had an Ulnar nerve transfer 6 mos post accident and I actually curled a Olympic curl bar yesterday (25 lbs?) but have limited shoulder use still. Just keep trying, I stretch a lot to keep the joints free and do any and all exercises I can.
Robert - LTBPI/34/AL - Yamaha meets Ford Expedition....not good.
