Hi Chris, my name is Mike and I'm left OBPI 51 years now. I've read some of your posts and would like to chat with you if you don't mind. Whenever you feel like venting or just talking, we can have an open forum here if you'd like or some how get together by email. I'm not about to pretend to imagine what bilateral must be like, because there is no way I could, that's not what this about. I just thought that man to man, we may share some of the same feelings regarding fatherhood, and may be able to make a difference for eachother in some of our thoughts.
I may not be able to respond right away as I'm going out of town for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. So if you want to, post, and I assure you I'll check and answer as soon as I can.
Take care Chris,
Mike

Re: Message to Chris
Hey Chris,
I think Mike has a great idea here Never hurts to have a bud to talk with, especially one who might truly understand some of your situations.
Also, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MIKE.
From Tina (also bilateral)

Re: Message to Chris, Mike and all BPI Guys!
I have a son with an OBPI. He is only 20 months old but I often think of what his future might have in store for him. I would love for anyone of you fellows to give me an idea of things to come... ways that his mommy can help... and when to back off! Women tend to be more emotional about stuff so I have often wondered how this injury affects men in that aspect of emotions and such.
Thanks so much!
Blessings,
Kristie
