Thomas is 16m and had mod quad 2 months ago. He has an elbow contractor that needs surgery or the serial casting. I just can't see putting him to sleep and through more pain so soon. But then the casting will be heavy and he will have to get use to it and he still falls a lot so I wonder if he will hurt what we just did with the mod quad. We have done the splinting at night and its just not working. Any one been through this please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of us here on the Adult OBPI board have not had surgery so you may not get the help you need on this board... nor the response because some of us are still on a learning curve...
We can tell you about life as OBPI... all the medical proceedures are new to most of us...

wish i could i'm just starting this with my son ryan 18 mos old i've been watching yours because their so close in age
