Our son is scheduled for Mod Quad Surgery at TCH on October 28. Anyone Having had this please let me know. Does it increase spunation? ROM?

My child also has the surgery coming up. I am curious too, how much (if at all) it helped your child with supination? What about with reducing internal rotation?

(Good luck with your son's surgery)

My son had Mod Quad on May 1. It has greatly helped his ROM. He has a pretty good range now. We are now working on getting him to use it. The surgery did help his supination quite a bit. They told us at the time of surgery that it may help and it may not. We are grateful that he was one that it did help. He continues to improve gradually. He never did have a problem with being internally rotated, so I can't help with that question. He still has a problem getting his hand behind his back, but it also is slowly improving.

Good luck with your surgeries.
