Janelle I want you to know I think you are brave. You are in my thoughts this week as you head into your surgery and what I hope will be some great and final relief.

Thank you Scott,
You have been great support and encouragement throughout this entire ordeal. I truly see the doorway to my actual recovery from this accident. I see me no longer having a dead left arm controlling every aspect of my life.

I know recovery from amputation will take a little time but it is so nice to know that once the wound heals I will be well on my way to getting my life back. The next step will be to get me off all the drugs I'm on. After that is accomplished I hope to be feeling well enough to work again.

Todays economy will make finding a job difficult but with all that I have endured and overcome, I don't see job hunting as being that difficult. Who knows maybe I'll even be able to really start painting again. Wouldn't it be something if I started to sell some of my paintings? LOL :-)

Keep me in your thoughts Friday.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: Road cycling accident 8/31/08 stretched c5/c6. 2 1/2 years post accident now and I have regained all function and alot of strength back. I am a very lucky person.
