the full moon

Post by njbirk »

I'm posting this on both the tbpi board and the adult board because I am curious about whether those of us injured feel extra sensitive during the full moon. I know that I feel the joint pain and the arthritis a lot more during that time, esp. in the back and shoulders, both of them since I now suffer from the overuse on the other side.

Anyone else?

Nancy, the full moon only changes my behavior.LOL But, I do have problems with all these weather fronts. I found something that helps the pain in my shoulder. It is called lidoderm patches. It has been very helpful with the pain. You can cut them to the size you need. They are a prescription. I put it on that spot on my shoulder and go pain free for the day.

Weather has alway cause more pains and aches for me...

Now on the night when it is a full moon.... I ride my broom...LOL... and fall to the right a lot....lol .... sorry could not resist.................just no self control...lol...

I honestly never noticed... but damp, cold weather will drive me crazy... because the muscles in the neck on the left side ( I am right bpi) become so tight... they compensate for the weak right side but really are like big golf balls when the weather changes... I get stiff and my arms and hands are terrible....

Now I have to watch for the next full moon and see if that is a day I hurt....

The same thing happens to me! They just don't make brooms like thy used to . I notice that in damp weather it is an effort to move. I drop things more fequently. My back, knees ,feet, neck--all of them are stiff and sore. There is nothing like sunshine on your face. Pat
