After 7 years of hard work, sweat and tears he can finally move his fingers and use them. Untill now there was a tiny bit of muscle tension. He had surgery about 2 monts or so and now he could grape a ball and USE his fingers. This is so new that i'm a little bit (much) emotional about it. This is so nice. Never expected.

CONGRATULATIONS for Wesley and for you too! This must be very exciting! It's also very encouraging for me to read. Thank you for posting. What surgery did he have? It sounds like the surgery gave him finger flexion (grasp). How about extension? Can he actively open his fingers at all? Thanks for the info. Keep up the great work. -Tina
