I have my first bug bite on obpi arm??? need help

Post by admin »

Don't laugh!

It is amazing but for the very first time a bug took a bite out of the obpi/right forearm... first red then white center... it feels hot! but most of the times my arm is freezing... it has gotten larger since this afternoon.... does anyone have a suggestion as to what I should put on it...

I know it sounds funny but really bugs leave me ALONE hate my blood!!! my husband insists they die after bitting me... LOL... but I never had a bite and all of a sudden my arm feels hot!

I was the size of a dime now a quarter... is that a spider bite?... any home remedies?

Thanks
Kath

Sounds a lot like the brown recluse spider bite I got a few years back. Don't wait too long to have a doctor check it out. I needed steroids.

Good luck

I posted this on the General Board and some suggest I see a doctor... I feel a bit foolish calling for a little bug bite... but I never had one on my bpi arm in all these years and the fact that it feel burnning and I can't usually feel much except freezing on that arm... cause me to think about it...

I am calling in the morning.
thanks

Thank Pat...

I am just finishing up a round of 19 PT visits... Long story... my ELBOW just happened to bang the wall and I really hurt the other arm and wing..... It knocked my crooked.....

Now that it is fixed do ya think I'll give it up for a hat rack...

The bug that bit me got fooled... not enough blood circulating on the bpi arm to ENJOY.... LOL

The witch hazel cure worked on the bug bite healed up in a matter of days... but was a first for me... bugs hate me....LOL

Kath, you gotta watch out for those walls and doorways. Mine are always stepping out in fromt of me too. Yea, it's hurts. one woudl think we could compensate somehow for that. I wonder if we made the doorways wider if that would help. But then I have put tooooo much weight on the last 6 years so I suppose that would be my next excuse for things jumping out at me. LOL If that were our biggest grief and problem we would have it made. Later Sharon

Bigger doorways don't work.... LOL..

I have two very big doorways in my house and have cut the corners to close... it's that body boundary thing again... LOL..

So don't blame the weight... My son-in-law told me not to go on a diet ---- "just make fatter friends"..... no you know why I love that boy... LOL
