SSDI denial

Post by Beerad »

I was recently denied SS benefits. I am trying to get any info you people might have about expediting the appeal process, should I retain legal representation and things like that. At the moment, I have no income and no medical insurance. I have been taking percocet and gabapentin since Aug. of '07 for the pain, and want to stop taking the drugs and if possible, end the pain, or at least cut it back.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks...Beerad

I make no promises but I worked with this group and they got SSDI for me. Please use my name when you talk to them. They ask me for referrals

Allsup Inc. has a 97% success rate with Social Security disability claims. My employer and The Standard, my Long Term Disability Insurance Company, hired them to handle my claim.
They started to handle my claim in January. I received a call from my coordinator on 4/18/08 to tell me they received notification from SSDI that I was approved. My coverage was retroactive to July 2007. Their phone number is 800-383-2495. Their web address is www.allsupinc.com
I don't know their cost it was covered by The Standard.

Congrats on SSDI Janelle.
Did you buy a new car with all that dough? I bought a Tahoe. Maybe when gas gets back down to oh...say $2.00/gallon and my insurance rates go down...etc, etc., I'll drive it home to see my Mom and I'll definately visit with you? Hell even when I do fly back I'll come see you. Hopefully we'll both be having one of our 'good' days.
You know I've advised others to at least get a claim with a date started because it will always go back to when you first file.
Pretty cool bonus for all it's worth...

Hardly Scott,
The retro money was taken by The Standard. My Long term disability insurance. In fact I'm still paying the back $4,00.00 of it. I used the money to fix my roof. They even reduced my monthly LTD check by the amount SSDI pays me and monthly payments toward the $4,000.00. It seems the only ones that benefited by mt getting SSDI is The Standard. Doesn't even sound legal to me but what can I do?

Non of this is Allsup's fault. It just feels like I'm being robbed by The Standard and there is nothing I can do about it.

Damn Janelle. I cannot believe it. It's not like Standard needs the money more than you. Crappolla. I'm gonna need some good news from you soon Janelle. It's breaking my heart is what it is. All the news from your camp has been dismal to say the least. And winter is coming....
Answer me this then please, can you smell Fall coming and see the trees beginning to turn?
I can recieve pictures on my phone as well as my laptop if you see anything you like and think that I might. I know of this one huge oak tree growing just before entering Newfields from the west and it's at a junction/intersection. Depeding on Gateway's response later on today (if I remember) I may be off-line for awhile. I sort of camp out at my laptop never quite accomplishing what I start out to do because I get all caught up in threads and websites etc. Unfortunately my keyboard has suffered the brunt of my eating, drinking and sleeping on it. Now I need to have two keys reinstalled/replaced and the whole thing cleaned out, cleaned off and cleaned up.
I better go now.
Oh ya... damn standard to hell.
