Post by Missy »

Hi Francine,

I just wanted to tell you how much your injurednewborn website is helping people.

My aunt works for a law firm in Iowa. She was just here for a visit and we were talking about Mitchell's injury and lawsuits pertaining to his injury. She went on to tell me that her firm sees 'a handfull' clients a year with BPI cases. Since Mitchell was born, she has become rather familiar with BPIs and she and the attornies use your injurednewborn website as a GREAT source of reference for their BPI cases.

I just thought you should know what a wonderful thing you've done for our community. You have helped so many people on all sorts of levels. From the every day stuff to the BIG stuff (which sometimes actually turns out to be every day stuff I guess). But anyhow, thank you. Your work is much appreciated.

I am going to have to totally agree with Missy. Francine, you and everyone here have been a God-sent. Even if just a chance to vent, (I honestly did not know I had any anger inside of me over all of this.)
God Bless you and everyone here. JaAnna (aka Beaglemom)

Francine,

I also want to thank you for the injurednewborn website. I have told our therapists to recommend that parents of newly injured children to go there for a wealth of knowledge. I frequently go there to read things, look for splint ideas, therapy ideas, learn about the various surgeries, etc. I have also provided pictures of my daughter (post surgery, splinted, etc.) so I can in my own way make a small contribution in the education of people about this injury. Thank you for all the hours that you spent and continue to spend on the website!

Well to be quite honest doing this site has saved my life in so many ways. I was so deeply depressed after Maia's birth and throughout this time that had I not done something like this - I honestly don't know how I would have survived. I do believe it saved my life and continues to do that for me. Thanks for all your kindnesses.
