school letter
school letter
I remember reading either on here or in Outreach a letter written to a teacher (I believe in was written from the child's point of view) describing various issues associated with BPI. It is not the generic one that explains the injury. It was more specific. It talked about sensory issues, and things like sitting on the carpet for long periods of time. I remember it said something like "don't rush to do everything for me, I want to try on my own, but I may need help with it." I've searched on here and can't seem to find anything. Can someone guide me in the right direction? Thanks!

Re: school letter
The letter you are looking for is in the fall 2006 Outreach
http://ubpn.org/outreach.html
"
Ask her if she
needs your help, don’t just jump in and do things for her. She gets insulted by that. Her injury is not the elephant in the corner, so to speak, but we don’t talk about it all the time either."
The letter was put together by Claudia, who is on the BOD of UBPN
