Ok everyone keep your fingers crossed and please say alittle prayer today I got for my thyroid needle biopsy to see if the cysts are cancer or no the one doctors said he doubts it but wants to make sure the QUACK said its could be cancer and has spread to my spinal cord and its not TM that I have. Any way this week hasn't been the best an 18yr old girl ran a red light and hit me dead in the driver side and now I'm really sore and my SUV is totaled and I have NJ insurance so my medical is on my insurance then they raise your rates or can cancel you for making a claim my suv was old 1997 with alot of miles but it ran well and was paid for now they will give me about $2 thousand and thats in and in NJ its real hard to find a decent running car for under $5000 so this puts me out of work also what a week, oh forgot this was her second accident in 3 months where she totaled a new expensive new car bought by daddy. She was so upset about her car but didn''t care that she could have killed me. Well I'm done freaking out thanks to all for listening.

Oh Mare,
When it rains it pours!!! Hope everything goes okay !!! We are all thinking about you and saying prayers. Teenagers with new cars are the worst, they are given everything and aren't careful at all. I know I got hit by one too !!! GAYLE

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Thanks Everyone
The biopsy wasn't so bad a little sore right now I will have results next week. My truck on the other hand was just totalled this afternoon by the insurance co so now I have to wait to see what they give me for it. The bad part was it was a 97 with alot of miles but it ran perfect and I most likely won't be able to afford another car for what they give me, If its not one thing its another. Mare PS My coffee pot broke this morning I should have stayed in bed.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!
I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".
There is NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION.

Well if I waited for DH to go to the store I'd never get one. My loving husband does not shop he will pay more to buy it online and have it shipped to the door rather then go into a store but I have to admit I hate stores also in NJ there is so much traffic its like xmas shopping season all the time so maybe I'll just wait for xmas to get out of bed and tell Frankie thats what I want for xmas a new coffee pot and an SUV. Once again Thanks Everyone for listening to me whine Hugs to all Mare
