I had a scheduled c-section with no complications. You can barely see the scar. Every hollywood star gets a c-section. There are no guarantees in life but I would never ever risk a vaginal delivery again.
The difference between a vaginal delivery and a c-section delivery is in one you labor before and the other you labor after.
I would never ever put a child at risk again with a vaginal delivery.
I am hoping for some support from personal experience, another baby??

Also, the OR experience with my c-section was just a lot more controlled and it went quickly. My husband watched the whole thing!!!
After the c-section, the hospital had me recovering with the baby imediately as opposed to my first "natural" delivery in which they kept the baby away from me!

I agree with the last poster...with the vag. delivery the work happens before the baby is born. With the c/s, it's so much easier before hand and then the recovery is a little more difficult.
I also felt like I couldn't risk that happening again. I would never forgive myself if something bad happened. I also know that with my history, the dr was going to be much more conservative and I had a pretty good chance that even if I tried a vag delivery, I would end up w/ a c/s anyway. I would really hate to labor and push and then have a c/s anyway. Besides the baby being hurt...that was my worst case senario.
