So I am still the happiest girl in the world! My guy is still every bit as amazing as he was a month ago and even more if that is possible. We have had some really great conversations together only for me to find out that my arm doesnt bug him at all! We can talk about it and hes learning what he can in his free time (pretty cool if you ask me). I am not sure how I got so lucky as to find the man of my dreams this young, but its pretty awesome!
So therapy is going great too. I am still in FEldenkrais and its very strange but very amazing! Last Friday was the coolest thing ever, at the start of the session I was compensating all over the place and by the end of the session, I wasnt compensating at all! I am pretty excited to see these changes. So far they are short lived but they are happening! I will keep working on it and see what happens.
School is going ok, much harder this semester than the last but still going ok. I am pretty excited, I am working on a research proposal for a class that I am taking and guess who I want to research! My professor told me she would help me write it until it is at a professional level so I can hand it to the docs and get the research going, hopefully! I want to have some research done on Botox for bpis. Thats all I will say about it for now. When I get it good enough, I will let you all know! But for now I should get back to working on it
Hugs,

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!
I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".
There is NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION.

Wonderful news in all 3 areas! So happy once again that you've found someone who is simply interested in Amy for the person she is.
Very exciting news that you are doing some research on Botox. Good for you.
