Blisters on BP hand?

Post by bobbysmom »

My son, Bobby-11 y.o., has ROBPI and for quite a while now has had small blisters that appear on his affected hand. They first appeared just on his fingertips and would come and go. Now they seem to be spreading down his fingers and his palm. Has anyone else had this issue or have any idea what it could be? It is only on his BP hand. Thanks for any help. Becky

No worries Becky, this seems to be a "normal" bpi thing. I get them every year. Just like you said, they start in the finger tips and eventually spread. Nothing to worry about. Just make sure to keep them clean and check every few days for infection. I have never had any infections so I dont think thats a huge risk but keep an eye on it.

Jojo (3 robpi) gets these. I think from sweating profusely. I put powder on his hand and underarm in summer.
