Tri Tilt

Post by momxthree »

I was just wondering, has anyone had the tri tilt and it didn't work or lose any function afterwards? My son is scheduled for April and I'm getting nervous. I could use all input. Thanks.

My son had the triangle tilt a little over 3 years ago. He had fantastic results and didn't lose function. The recovery was slower than with other surgeries he had, but it was positively worth it. He has every function that he had before the surgery, and much more. He is pleased that it was done and happy with the results. Please ask questions if you have some.

Wow. Someone just created an account just to post to this thread? That's odd.

Why not use your original account? How odd.

I would just use the search function to look around at what others have posted (under non-Anonymous accounts).

Sorry for being anonymous. Our case is about to go to trial and I am nervous about doing anything right now. I promise to use my real name once the trial is complete and I will give you all the information about us that I can, but for now I don't feel like I can. I hope you can understand that.

I know the surgery is contraversial and everyone has their own opinion about it. It seems that you have already decided on having the surgery so I wanted you to know that there are good results out there and I was hoping to ease some of your anxiety. I didn't mean to sound "odd", I was only trying to help you and offer comfort from someone whose child has actually had the surgery. Good luck to you and your family with the surgery. Post any questions here that I can help you with. I will answer them, but it will have to be anonymously for now.
