update on Bailey

Post by Meredith »

I haven't been on the boards in months because Bailey has a new sister. Chloe was born one day before Bailey turned one by c-section of course. What a different experience. Anyway both arms work!!!
Our prayers have been answered, Bailey has had a complete recovery without any surgery. We were concerned and waiting for external rotation and suppination, but he began suppinating fully at about 12 months, much to our relief. Our therapist released him at 13 months. I am still carefully watching him because I am aware that things can crop up, but for now there is no difference in his injured arm. I hope this will encourage someone out there who feels like their child will never heal. I have been there and have worried day and night. Some kids do heal over time. We have a miracle at our house. I pray each night for all of our little babies and for their parents. A special thanks to Francine who answered all my questions.
