looking to donate some "cast clothes"

Post by felicia »

Olivia had tendon transfer surgery in October with Dr. Kozin. We just came back from getting the cast off and the week of rehab, which went great! She has improved in her range of motion greatly, from about 90 degrees to almost 180! Anyway, the point of this post is this:
I have several shirts that I would like to send to someone who might be able to use them following a surgery where your child is casted. She is normally a size 2t and these shirts were mostly an 8/10 to allow for the the room of the cast. We cut them down the side, put in a strip of velco and removed the sleeve. (She has a LOBPI, so all the alterations are on the left). They are nothing fancy, just plain colored short sleeve shirts, but they did come in handy, especially for sleeping. Most of the colors are neutral, but there are some peaches and pinks. Anyone that could use them, please let me know and I'll send them to you, as I feel bad to throw them away!

Hi Felicia!
No need for the clothes but I just wanted to say that I'm so happy it went so well! I've been thinking about you and Olivia :)

If you still have the clothes, I would be interested. Could you please e-mail me @ silong@earthlink.net and I will give you my info. Thanks!
