Shoulder Dystocia on Private Practive last night

Of course they didn't make it look like a big deal. All the Dr had to do was a gentle rotation to dislodge the shoulder. The DR wasn't even an OB and they were in a convenience store (he called a colleague to ask what to do when the head was delivered) . No mention of risk factors etc.

I wish someone would portray this properly.

Yeah why is it they never show a mom being told her baby will never move its arm. Even Burke on Greys recovered and was able to operate again it would be nice to see reality and if there not going to show it the way it really is why even mention it at all. Mare
