Yep I'm up for a Vegas trip...! Just let me know the time etc give me a few weeks notice for getting flights etc..!

Just a note on the timing of the usual bi-ennial UBPN Camp; from my point of view, it would be a lot cheaper to fly out to the states any other time except around Labor Day. Don't know why that is...maybe it's because it is a holiday there, but it isn't here, so I don't understand why the cost of flights from here should go way up around then. We could have flown a week later for almost a third off.. :0(

PS How do you get those little smiley's in your posts? Is it just a perk for the BOD's?? :0)

HI everyone,

I need to let you all know that we are in the very early stages of looking for a camp site for 09, that we are looking at all of FL. not just in one area.

From my experience of doing this for 2 camps it can take us up to a year to find the site that works best for UBPN. Of course I am hoping that it won't take that long.

Joy, thank you for suggesting the Ranch. It looks like a great place, Judy and I will be looking into it.
Any more suggestion, please send them to judy@ubpn.org and karen@ubpn.org

Thanks everyone for your help on this.

Have a great week-end,

Hugs,
Karen

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
