I'm med free.
I was 2 years on meth ,and hated it
I'm not pain free but I'm pain ok after laser treatment
Still hurts sometimes but after 25 years I have leaned a lot of coping techniques.
Sometimes I even winge a bit, especially when I'm tired.
But I've been where the pain is and hope that you can get through it. It will get easier.
And never let the pain win - you are stronger than that.
All the best
Henry

Hi Kath,
I know of what you speak when the weather changes. I can't imagine bringing this back up north. I was born and raised 38 miles NE of Boston, at the mouth of the Merrimac River and I know cold. Trust me I can not go back. My mom still lives up there and has advised me to get to the Mayo-Minn. as soon as possible. Well I've only recently learned the depth of their knowledge and skills and here it comes ...winter. I think I can wait until spring? I wish the Mayo in Scottsdale Arizona was as well qualified. Last winter I had to wear a glove on my left (LTBPI) hand only. I wore it day and night, inside and out. Now I have no clue where the right hand glove is. It's funny how different neurontin affects different people. I take about the maximum daily dose. I don't even know what it it but I'm pretty sure I'm there with 3900mgs.
I'm always here,
Peace
Scott
Ps I take 37 pills a day.
