God has been real good to me and has made me real strong in my faith but I still sit at home wondering if I will ever find the love of my life.
Re: depesion
hey buddy, i faced the same demons. added to the fact i was in a wheelchair too. i think the right person, will look past all of that, and see you for you.
i have praised god that we are in a better position than a whole lot of more unfortunate people.
there is definitely a person out there for you, that isnt so shallow that they cant look past the most minor of disabilities.

Hate to say this mate, but that's your problem! You'll ever find anyone just sitting at home wondering. Get out there...it's a big wide wonderful world full of great people. Never mind the arm! That's just a very small part of you..!

You know what? Good things don't come to those who sit on the corner of their bed half way between getting up and getting back down. I know, no wait, we all know this sucks. By 'we all' I am saying there are an awful lot of us, the chosen many. Even if you only get up and out to appointments on those days plan a little side trip for yourself. Only by getting out there will you find something in there that is special in you, her all of us.
Be brave.

Re: depesion
It's person who matters, not the number of arms.
I've had the good fortune of being loved by several wonderful women and am currently in a relationship with someone I am completely mad for.
The one armedness has never been an issue. Here's test - ask the people who know you well and see if they even notice any more.
The first step is never easy, but if you don't make it an issue, no one else will

Hey Denny
I am not a BPI patient myself....my daughter was injured at birth. But I was reading your post and I just wanted to try and encourage you...I'm a Christian as well and God is the reason I have gotten through what I have with Cassidy so far....keep your faith strong..God WILL provide...but it will be in his time, which isn't always the same as OUR time. I have worried over the exact same issues for Cassidy...what man will want her, will she get hurt, how will she hold her baby IF she ever gets to have one...it's all stuff that we can lay at the cross and ask God to take care of and the best part, is that he will. I don't know the personal struggle of what your going through....but I know that there are women out there that look past arms and legs and faces to the heart...theres a woman like that out there for you..just be patient and as another poster said get out and enjoy life!!!
all the best to you..
