Good on ya and best of luck. I had the same op done in New Zealand in May. So far, not much has changed, but it took gobs of time for the swelling over my brachial plexus to go down, and they say the nerves are traumatised all the while and not growing.

I had 14 graphs done, 11mm apiece, something like that.

Keep in touch,
Audee

Good Luck! The road seems long from here but you can do it. I remember those days of recovery from long surgeries, I feel for you!

Hello Shaun~
How are all of your muscles feeling? Has the swelling and pain from surgery subsided by now? I ask because I have surgery scheduled for Oct. 16th at Mayo, scheduled while I freak out and weigh my decisions, and I watched as you made yours. I remember the day you had your operation, and I sent you lots of good thoughts from California. Any info. you provide is helpful.
Thanks~
Genevieve

Hi guys! hope you are all well..
hmm..havent noticed much since surgery. the oversensitivity on the outside of my arm seems to have subsided.and the pins and needles in my thumb and index finger feels different.
i really didnt have much swelling from the surgery, just a big scar..hehe.. im still in the sling so not very mobile. i am up and walking though, so that is a blessing, as i had shattered my femoral head and hip. Im full of titanium. i really didnt have much pain from the surgery. Genevieve, i think surgery is the way to go,because if it is a chance of my arm getting better!ill take that! rather than having an arm that used to work. mayo clinic in the states is highly talked of on this board, so i think you will be in good hands.
Scott, sleepers when i cant sleep are a blessing!
im sick to death of sleeping on my back! hehe
im going to purchase an ems/tens unit, hopefully this will provide some benefit!
hope you are all well!
