WOW...I'm not alone!

Hi everyone: Thank you so much for responding to my post. It made me feel very welcome! Some of you asked where I live and how I found the site. Well, I live in Wisconsin and I found the site by typing in "newborn limp arm" as I did not know it was a condition or that it had a name. You can imagine my surprise when the sites appeared. And I was even more shocked when I began reading the info. and posts and realized this really was my condition! Yeah!....after 47 years I have answers! When I would mention it to my doctors they usually just said it was some sort of birth defect and I should just be happy that I have some use of it. And I am, but wow does it feel good to know the real reason and especially not to feel alone anymore! I sure wish I would have seen the 20/20 show some of you were discussing. 49 right OBPI. Welcome. You'll meet some really great people here. My arm didn't move when I was born either. Now I have the use of my fingers and hand, but limited elsow and shoulder. Come back often. Pat
