Just found this - Ergo shoulder system....
Re: Just found this - Ergo shoulder system....
I used something like this early on. But, the pillow was MUCH larger. It was just to large to really do any daily activities. I love the compact size of this one. Thanks for posting the link!

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I'll bet this would be useful for older OBPI who are not in danger of forming elbow contractures.
It's like bringing your own home pillow to rest your arm on when traveling. Sometimes my shoulder is so heavy it makes me tired.
thanks for the link

Wow I just checked out that site and that brace. I had one very, very simular last year. It worked for a short period of time but eventually gravity won and the weight of my arm would push the 'pillow' out of place all too often for it to be effective. I have to go to the V.A. hosp. today to pick up meds and I will try and get the info on the brace that I use 24/7.
