By having the muscle transfer to her arm she got bulk back in her biceps area and it pulled her shoulder into place so it is no longer subluxed. Her elbow rests at a 30 degree angle instead of hanging straight down.

Ramesh,
Hi, my name is Scott and I live near Dallas, Texas. I suffered my TBPI in June of 06 from a fall.
I am very saddened indeed to hear of your plight. I cannot give you anything but moral support. After trying unsuccessfully to ease my pain on a number of occasions my doctors left me to my own devices. I have learned that nerves grow back a millimeter a day or about an inch a month. I wish I could give you more. Just know this Ramesh, you are never alone if you want to talk. The UBPN Message Boards are a saving grace.
My best to you,
Scott

thanks for your info. I'm going through surgeries right now to look "normal" but mine are more plastic surgery.
