Off Topic -- Think of us!

Post by Katiesmom0514 »

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Katie leaves today to visit with her Daddy for a whole week, which to me feels like a lifetime. So far, I'm handling it pretty well (last year I was a basket case)but this is always tough on me. Please keep Katie in your thoughts and prayers as well as those of us who will miss her! Thanks!

Love and Hugs To All!

Oh, this must be tough I am sure. Think of it as a "good miss" as my husband always says whenever I go away for a conference or something. Of course he'll miss me, but it's time apart that makes us appreciate all the things we have together even more! One thing that I did when I was away from my kids for the first time was I copied the words from a book that they had and I read the words over the phone where I was while they looked at the actual book at home. It was Mom reading them a bedtime story even though I wasn't right next to them. You can still do the same, just ask her what book she has there and get a copy from the library. You'll make it!
