anyway Im finally going to see docs that work on bp
I had my bike accident in sept of 06 really great timing too my wife had just left my son and I for another man in another state.
I had a short hospital stay I hasd fractured c1 thru c8
also 2 broken ribs.
but the doc told me the nerves were avulsed at the root and
I woul never use it again (sorry about the typing I was left handed LOL
I started getting use of my wrist and hand but the pain is unbearable at times but I have custody of my son and am trying to live a normal life I just lost my job for being out too long and the future looks scary but we will get through it.
reading these posts really helps there are some really strong and brilliant folks on this site.
anyway I just wanted to say thanks

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: 28 years old with a right obstetrical brachial plexus injury. 5 surgeries to date with pretty decent results. Last surgery resolved years of pain in my right arm however, I am beginning my journey with overuse in my left arm

Wow mike you are living my life 7 years later. my accident was aug99 while going through a divorce. But my ex lost our son after 7 months kinda screwed both of us up. You are lucky you have your child. It takes time to get through everything but eventaully you will regain a normal life. I am thankful for the good times and am sure someday it will all make sense.
