Bowling! Keyboard typing

Post by Fredrick »

I have bowled six games the past two days and have a bowling average of 77. Uggggg! Suprisingly, I am thrilled with the average given that I have not bowled in ten years and bowled left handed. I encourage everybody to give bowling a try. As for typying on my keyboard, I average about 24 wpm. Not bad for being one hand. Before my injury I averaged around 50 wpm. Has anybody found a keyboard that accomadates are one handed challenge? Good day and take care everybody...Fred

I bowled with my kids last weekend - 78 best game
that's left handed & wheelchaired. It was just great to do something active with 'em again since the accident. My typing always sucked but I noticed the laptop is easier/faster.

Well, since my good arm has always been my strong hand, I'm lucky. I've been pretty able to bowl like I did before (my scores don't improve!) lol

As for typing, I never thought about using any kind of modified keyboard. I just continued to go about using the normal one. I was blessed and born into fairly athletic genes. My fine motorskills have really been put to challenges and have pulled through.

Ramesh, My daughter was right handed before her accident and then she had to become left handed. She just kept practicing her writing with her left hand and now she has become quite good at it! Sue

I love to bowl!! I take my kids a lot. Its still something I can do w/ my family. Can't teach them a cartwheel or to dive into a pool-but bowling is great!
Typing, I'm quicker now than I was with two hands. but I'm on the computer a lot more now. Stay at home mom.
