Hi Rachel! Its great to hear from you! I understand busy, I am so swamped at school its not even funny. I have several big projects and tests coming up quickly, yuck!

Now I have to go home today and tell my boss that I will probably need a month off that she just scheduled me as many hours as she could. Not looking forward to that at all. I need the hours and I dont like missing work. Not sure how I would be able to do my job with the splint my doctor described.

None the less, I am still extremely excited and on cloud nine like you said. It should be so worth it!

Nice to hear from you again!
Hugs,
Amy

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Amy,

I haven't been on the boards for a couple of days, so I didn't read your good news until now. WOW! How exciting. I pray that you will get the best outcome possible. I'm sure you will be able to climb that rock wall as soon as the healing (from the surgery) process will let you.
