About Dr. Shenaq

Post by claudia »

It is with great sadness that I have tell our community of Dr. Shenaq's death.

He was a wonderful man, not just a great surgeon. I had always heard that surgeons were cold and until I met him, nothing I experienced changed that opinion. His kindness and sweet way with children showed me that not ALL surgeons are cold and calculating.

He was always available to me and only, only ever wanted the best for Juliana.

He was not only my daughter's doctor, but also my friend. Frank and I still laugh at his reaction to a restaurant we took him too; it was an Italian restaurant with no menus (sort of "Sopranos") and really no bill...they just told Frank how much it was, Frank argued the right amount, it came down some and we paid! Dr. Sal was aghast!!! How can this be? It is New York, we told him.

I am so sad.

Wow...Claudia, I just read this and I am saddened also. Was he ill for some time or what? He was an amazing Blessing to the BPI Community. I am so sad to hear of his passing. Sandi
