Wow! She is so beautiful!
I had tears in my eyes looking at her surgery pictures. It breaks my heart everytime I see a child going through something that didn't have to happen to begin with. I hope she is doing well.

Amy,
Abbie is so adorable! She even makes her pink brace look good. Hope she is feeling better each day.

Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
Location: New York

Thank you everyone!!!! She got her brace off 4 days ago and is trying to move that arm already, so hopefully that's a good sign! I have a hard time putting her down! :)
It was SUPER rough doing that surgery. The roughest thing I have ever done was hand her over to another Dr to cut into her. :( I had help through a Stella's Mom (Bless her heart) I called her the night before Abbie's surgery in a massive panic and it was so nice to have someone be straight-forward and honest.
The posts on this board have been a true blessing and I wish I could hug everyone that takes their time out of the day to run it!!!!

If anyone needs to talk, please feel free to email me!!!!
