After the accident I was really sore and stayed that way for the first two days. But now I only hurt in my left shoulder. It's very specific too. I get a sharp pain in my back toward the scapula (possibly muscular or bone) and I also have nerve pain down the left side of my neck over the shoulder and down the arm. Sometimes I get a burning sensation in the neck too.
I have a call into my neuro to see what he thinks but he's so hard to get ahold of (he's one of 3 neuro's in the area).
Do you think this just sounds like normal pain from being in the accident or does it sound like some extra damage?
Does this sound normal?
Re: Does this sound normal?
If it is new pain on top of what you normally experience then I would say it is caused by the accident. That doesn't mean its permanent. You could have just rattled things around in there.
I would keep an eye on it. If it gets worse try to contact your doc. Do you have an email address for him?
I have found that that is a much better and faster way to get a question answered by a doc(as long as you keep your message concise)
