Yes, scrip was from dr to use it. Was used before and after the surgery. Don't recall how long after the surgery, but think it was like a month.

I want to add that I have no idea if the TES actually grew muscle for Maia - Maia is a chunky kid so it's hard to tell HOWEVER - I know FOR SURE that it helped her in other ways. It reduced the edema in her arm overnight (water swelling). And the most important thing was that it would bring infection on her palm to a halt overnight. Maia has eczema on her palm of her affected hand and once it gets infected, nothing helps except using the TES machine anywhere on her arm - I just do normal placements of rhomboids and triceps and it works like a charm. So we look at TES as a "lifetime" tool for Maia. Even if she's not using it on muscles - we keep it ready and batteries charged for if she has pain, has swelling, or has infection.
