Sizzling, numbness but still use
I have just been informed I may have a bp injury. My symptoms are sizzling, burning, pain, extra sensitive down my whole right arm. I can still use the arm and my hand very well, it's just when I do, I get buring and sizzling, pins and needles sensation and a icy cold feeling that is very sensitive to touch. Most articles I read say you lose use of arm. Is my doctor on the right track. Do any of you experience this kind of pain. Percodan, Percoset, Darvocet and other pain medicines are not helping the sizzling and burning feeling. I just had a MRI on neck and it shows some bulges but no cord compression. I had surgery in 90 on c5/c6/c6/c7 disk removal and fusion but this also appears to be in place with only scar tissue growth. Any experience these kinds of sensation. My doctor ordered MRI of the bp but I dont want to waste time if he is on the wrong track. Especially since I hate MRI's, I am clostrophobic. Help. Thanks.
